Largemouth Bass

Fishing on Fox Lake is exciting and productive! Even the most novice angler has a good chance at landing a good-sized largemouth bass. We have bluegill, crappie, sunfish, smallmouth bass, and rock bass. The kids who visit us are happy fishing from the dock or their parents' boat (wear lifejackets! Click here to visit Minnesota's water safety page) and seeing their bobbers bounce up and down with a bluegill or sunfish on the other end. With some patience, you may even get to experience the splashing fury and thrill of finding a Northern pike (pictured below) in your net!

If you plan to fish, you must obtain a Minnesota fishing license. Several options are available, including out-of-state, limited, married or single options. Prices vary depending on the year and type of license you get. We can help you decide which license you need and help you find a place to purchase one.
